How time flies.....!

I am home today due to not feeling well. Last night, I suddenly felt very dizzy which causes me to get sick to my stomach. I feel a little better but is still light headed so I decided to just stay home today. I thought that this is my chance to update my blog.

Tomorrow, Nikki will be seven years old. How time flies! My baby is growing up so fast! I wish, we have the extra money to give her a party. But I know that she understands that it is not all about parties. We can still have fun and celebrate even if it is just the three of us. At least, we were able to get some of the things in her birthday wish list and some other things as well. She is still the same loving, sweet, bubbly, happy and smart little girl that we know of. My birthday wishes for you sweetheart, for all your wishes and dreams to come true, for you to stay healthy, happy, sweet, loving, obedient, fun, bubbly, smart....for you to be just the way you are. I pray that God will always keep you safe and for HIM to always watch over you and keep you in HIS loving care. I pray for many, many, many more Happy and Blessed Birthdays to come! We love you very, very much!

God is watching over us....

This is what my husband told me this morning. After feeding our dog Bullet, I heard my husband said it is a beautiful day today (it is sunny and it feels more like spring). Then he told me, you know what....I think God is watching over us. My reply to that was....you know what, you should have realized that a long time ago :).

Yes, God is indeed watching over us, HE always does. My husband just got laid off from his work (where he has been honestly working for 12 long years). But, God is good, because, he help me get accepted for a full time job at a university here (2 weeks before hubby got laid off).

My work is doing pretty good. I have adjusted to it pretty well. Hubby's got a few applications turned in and we hope and pray that he get any of those.

Can I say that, I have never in my life have more faith and so much trust in God than I am now? I fully believe that He always have better plans for us. Things happen for a reason......maybe to test our faith and trust in Him, perhaps...for it to be a humbling experience, how about....for our family to be closer, or for us to try harder and do better and many other good things, that usually get ignored.

I know that there are a lot of people that are in the same situation as ours. Just know that God loves all of us. All that we just need to do is ask for His help and guidance and to put our faith and trust in Him, that He does have wonderful plans for us. Be strong, stay positive, pray, keep the faith and TRUST GOD.

God is watching over us.....
